Tributes Paid to Late Pt. Rambabu Sharma for His Legacy of Service and Social Welfare

New Delhi: Thousands of devotees gathered at Shri Sai Sharanam Temple in Shahdara as the temple celebrated its 20th Foundation Day alongside Guru Purnima with deep devotion, spiritual fervour and traditional grandeur. The temple premises were beautifully adorned with flowers, balloons and decorative lights, creating a vibrant atmosphere of faith. Bhajans, special prayers and the distribution of prasad drew an overwhelming response from devotees.

Addressing the gathering, former MLA and Founder Trustee Vipin Sharma expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all devotees, guests and volunteers for making the celebration a grand success. He prayed that Sai Baba’s blessings continue to guide everyone with peace, prosperity, good health and harmony, while urging society to uphold the values of love, selfless service and compassion.

Former Municipal Councillor and Senior Advocate Anil Gautam described Shri Sai Sharanam Temple as more than a place of worship, calling it a centre of social harmony, humanity and community service. He appreciated the temple trust for its continuous contribution to religious, cultural and social welfare activities and extended his greetings to devotees on the occasion of Guru Purnima.

A special tribute was paid to Late Pt. Rambabu Sharma, the founder of the temple, whose vision and dedication laid the foundation for the institution. Speakers remembered him as a visionary leader, committed social worker and inspiring personality whose contribution to public welfare and religious service continues to inspire generations.
The celebrations commenced with special prayers, Guru Vandana and Sai Baba’s Aarti, followed by soulful devotional renditions by renowned bhajan singer Tarsem Raj Kapoor, who captivated the audience with spiritually uplifting performances. A Bhajan Sandhya and a community Prasad distribution were organised from witnessing enthusiastic participation from devotees.
Among those present were Paras Sharma (President and Founder Trustee), Ch. Gajendra Singh (General Secretary and Founder Trustee), Municipal Councillor Chandra Prakash, Shivani Panchal, Ramesh Visheiya, Parmanand Sharma, Advocate Sandeep, social worker Arun Sharma, Chaudhary Jaikaran, and several other distinguished guests and community members.
