Ch. Anil Kumar said that Delhi Congress had raised the issue of Rs 4288 crore corruption in the purchase and maintenance contracts of DTC buses long back, which CBI was now probing, as Congress had sensed huge underhand deals in these contracts. He said that CBI’s arrest of five senior DTC officials for taking bribes for fresh appointments validates  Delhi Congress’ charge of corruption in the DTC, though  these officials were acting at the behest of the Transport Minister to fill the coffers of Kejriwal.

Ch.  Anil Kumar said that corruption was all-pervading in the Delhi Government was established yet again when one of the three officials suspended by the Lt. Governor recently included a Deputy Secretary in Chief Minister Kejriwal’s office. He said that Kejriwal was projecting himself as an honest man, but corruption has become a byword in the Delhi Government to get any work done.
