Ch. Anil Kumar said that the rise in the prices of petrol and diesel will have a direct impact on the farmers, already protesting against the three anti-farmer laws on the borders of Delhi, for over the past 45 days. He said that the prices of  agricultural produces will shoot up, as the transportation cost will also go up, due to the hike in petrol and diesel prices. Ch. Anil Kumar said that on the one hand, the  Modi Government was squeezing the people through various taxes, while on the other hand, it was trying to squander thousands of crores of rupees for building a  new Parliament House and Central Ministries in the Central Vista of Lutyens’  Delhi, disregarding popular opinion.
