Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ch. Anil Kumar said that the BJP Government at the Centre cannot suppress the voice of truth and reason, and a large number of Congress workers yet again assembled outside the Congress headquarters at Akbar Road, to endorse  their support and faith in Shri Rahul Gandhi, who was being harassed, threatened and intimidated by the Modi Government for speaking the truth, raising issues relevant to the people and for protesting against  crony Capitalism,  erosion of democratic values and independent institutions. He said that if the BJP thinks that it can silence the voice of Rahul Ji by  sending Government agencies like the CBI, Enforcement Directorate and Police after him, to threaten him, it cannot succeeded in its vendetta politics, as the people of the country was keenly watching the injustice being heaped on Rahul Ji.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that Shri Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and his plain speak in Lok Sabha on the Adani issue, and persistent demand by the Opposition parties for a JPC probe on the Adani issue, have rattled the Modi Government, which has  begun a slander campaign against Rahul Ji to tarnish his image and reputation, but the Congress workers and the people of the country have full faith in him, and they have  extended him their unqualified support for his sustained fights to protect democracy and democratic values in the face of persistent  assaults on democracy and democratic institutions by the autocratic Modi Government.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that the Congress party has full faith in the Indian judicial system, and it was confident of Rahul Ji getting full justice, so that he can continue his battle to protect the interest of the people, for getting them facilities that would lessen their hardships and everyday struggle for survival.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that the people of the country, particularly those who live in Delhi, have always fought against injustice and vindictive politics through which the Modi Government was trying to intimidate and suppress Rahul Ji from speaking the truth, and the people of Delhi have rallied behind him with all their might to give him support in his fight against injustice, corruption and for the welfare of the people, whatever may be the hurdles the Modi Government put before him.
