Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ch. Anil Kumar said that Congress workers will make door-to-door contacts with the people of Delhi to expose the corruption behind the liquor deal and all other scams committed under the leadership of  Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the past nine years, as he was the kingpin of all the scams, and was  now trying to whitewash all his sins after the resignations of Satyender Jain and Manish Sisodia from the Ministry after they were arrested for corruption cases, and the people of Delhi are now fully aware that they were betrayed by Kejriwal with false promises. He said that Jain has been languishing in jail for the past 9 months without getting bail clearly proves the stand taken by Delhi Congress that the entire Kejriwal Cabinet was corrupt, involved in one corruption case or other.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that Congress workers will not only make doo-to-door visits, but also put up posters at every nook and corner to expose the corruption and scams of Kejriwal, and demand his arrest, as he should not be allowed to get scotfree after making Jain and Sisodia as scapegoats for the scams masterminded by him. He said that Sisodia was forced to submit his resignation immediately after the Supreme Court refused to entertain his bail plea, has vindicated the Congress stand that Sisodia was the brain behind the implementation of the corrupt liquor policity at the behest of Chief Minister Kejriwal.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that Kejriwal should resign and  apologise to Delhiites for betraying them after looting the tax payers’ money. He said that Kejriwal had fooled Delhiites before coming to power that he would implement Jan Lokpal, and had that been done, 80 per cent of the Kejriwal Cabinet and many AAP MLAs would have been behind the bars for corruption and various offences. He said that Kejriwal was still trying to protect the Ministers who were involved in the liquor scam, and was also trying to induct two MLAs as Ministers who too do not have clean images.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that Delhi Congress had demonstrated outside the Aam Aadmi Party office on Wednesday demanding Kejriwal’s resignation, and if he does not resign as the Chief Minister, Congress will further expose his role in the liquor scam, along with that of the BJP, by intensifying its protests. He said that the BJP had colluded with the AAP in the implementation of the now-scrapped liquor policy which had destroyed many unemployed youth and families in Delhi.
