Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Ch Anil Kumar said that in view of the Covid-19 cases scaling up in Delhi, the Arvind Government should ramp up RT-PCR tests, and intensify the booster dose drive, as another lockdown and closure of schools will not be the remedy to tackle the pandemic surge.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that Delhi Congress had demanded that the booster dose should be given to all eligible people free of cost by having tie-up with private hospitals, and the Arvind Government should act on it urgently to check the Covid-19 spread, with the XE variant of the virus posing a serious concern.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that students and parents were happy with the resumption of off-line classes in schools as on-line classes had not only caused psychological problems to the students,  but poor children could not access online classes due to lack of facilities.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that the Arvind Government should ensure that people adhere to Covid-19 protocol in public, instead of taking an easy way out by enforcing another total clamp down. He said that the hospitals should be kept in readiness to tackle any  eventuality, as in the previous Covid-19 pandemic devastations, the Arvind Government was caught mapping and ill-prepared to address the Covid spread.

Ch. Anil Kumar said that Chief Minister Arvind should spend more time in Delhi, and stop tutoring Punjab bureaucrats, and holding political meetings in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, as his irresponsible actions have caused severe damage to Delhi.
