Anil Kumar said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind wants to take political mileage out of all his schemes, as his intent is to promote himself, and not to serve the people of Delhi sincerely. He said that CM Arvind has been promising Delhiites for the past few years that he will ensure door-step delivery of ration, but in the process, he ran into a wall, as the Lt. Governor of Delhi will not allow him to name the scheme as “Mukhyamantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojna”.

Anil Kumar said that a pilot project of the door-step ration delivery scheme was to begin on 25 March, 2021 at Seemapuri in North East Delhi, but due to the tussle regarding the nomenclature of the scheme, it may have to be shelved. He said that if the CM was serious about providing ration at door-steps  in a hassle-free manner, then he should first think of the people, than standing on prestige to gain political mileage for himself.
