In an impressive display of strength and skill, Delhi Government wrestlers clinched nine medals at the All India Civil Services Wrestling Championship held in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
The prestigious tournament, conducted from February 26 to 28, witnessed participation from 25 teams across the country. Amid intense competition, the Delhi contingent stood out with a commanding performance, securing 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, thereby enhancing the capital’s sporting prestige.
Golden Triumph
Wrestlers Amit, Deepak and Rekha Rani delivered outstanding performances to secure three gold medals for Delhi. Their tactical brilliance, agility and confidence in the ring drew admiration from spectators and fellow competitors alike.
Silver Success
In fiercely contested bouts, Deepak, Rakesh and Sunita Rani added three silver medals to Delhi’s tally, demonstrating consistency and resilience throughout the championship.

Completing the medal sweep, Hemant, Vikas and Manju bagged three bronze medals, taking Delhi’s overall medal count to an impressive nine.
