Spiritual Significance of Holi in Sanatan Dharma
Beyond colours and festivity, Holi carries profound spiritual meaning in Sanatan Dharma:
Victory of righteousness over evil — commemorating the devotion of Prahlad
Triumph of positivity over negativity
Celebration of spring and renewal of nature
Festival of unity, love and forgiveness
Holi symbolises the burning of ego, hatred and ignorance, encouraging individuals to embrace compassion, harmony and spiritual awakening.
Message to the Nation from Vinod Kumar Gupta
Temple sevak Vinod Kumar Gupta extended a warm welcome to devotees and shared a heartfelt message for the nation:
“Holi teaches us to remove ego, hatred and negativity from our lives and walk on the path of love, brotherhood and dharma. Just as spring brings new energy to nature, may our lives also be filled with positivity and renewal. Let us collectively uphold the eternal values of Sanatan culture.”
He also urged citizens to celebrate Holi using natural colours and eco-friendly practices, ensuring that the festival remains auspicious for both humanity and nature.
A Celebration Beyond Colours
The grand celebration at Shri Brijeshwari Nagarkot Kali Mandir stood as more than a festive gathering — it became a symbol of cultural unity, spiritual awareness and the timeless values of Sanatan tradition.
As the colours settled and prayers concluded, the message remained clear:
When society comes together in the spirit of faith, harmony and love, Holi becomes truly meaningful.
Warm wishes to all on the auspicious occasion of Holi!
