A traditional Hindu wedding ceremony turned into a high-profile social and political gathering on Thursday evening as Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Premchand Bairwa, attended the marriage of Dhirendra Singh (Ashu) and Shejal at Krishna Paradise in Jaipur.

The groom, Dhirendra Singh (Ashu), is the younger brother of journalist Prashant Parmar of the Vatan Kesari family and the son of Dr. Rajkumar Singh Parmar. The wedding was solemnized according to traditional Sanatan Vedic rituals, with sacred chants, seven pheras around the holy fire, and elaborate cultural ceremonies.

Deputy CM’s Presence Adds Political Buzz
The arrival of Dr. Premchand Bairwa significantly elevated the stature of the event, creating what attendees described as a noticeable “political warmth” at the venue. His presence drew administrative officials, local dignitaries, and prominent members of Jaipur’s social circles.

Addressing the gathering briefly, the Deputy Chief Minister extended his heartfelt blessings to the newlyweds and wished them a prosperous and harmonious married life. He emphasized the importance of preserving Sanatan traditions, calling them “the foundation of India’s cultural identity and social unity.”

Distinguished Attendance
The ceremony witnessed the presence of several respected members of the Parmar family and distinguished guests, including Ganeshpal Singh Parmar, Dr. R.K. Singh Parmar, Pratap Singh Parmar, and Sukhram Singh Parmar. Family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered in large numbers to celebrate the auspicious occasion.

A Blend of Tradition and Influence
While the wedding remained deeply rooted in religious customs and family values, the participation of senior political leadership transformed it into a broader platform of social engagement. Informal discussions among political figures and administrative officials were seen taking place alongside the festivities, further underscoring the event’s wider significance.

Blessings for a Bright Future
As the evening concluded with traditional rituals and celebratory exchanges, the Deputy Chief Minister once again conveyed his best wishes for the couple’s bright and successful future.

The grand ceremony in Jaipur stood as a testament not only to enduring cultural traditions but also to the intersection of social life and political presence in contemporary Rajasthan.
