In a no-holds-barred warning, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has declared zero tolerance against the deadly Chinese manjha, making it clear that any death caused by it will be treated as “murder.” The Chief Minister has ordered strictest possible legal action against all those involved—from manufacturers to sellers and suppliers—sending a strong message that playing with human lives will not be forgiven.
CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the safety of citizens—especially children, birds, and animals—cannot be compromised. He directed senior officials to tighten surveillance across the entire supply chain, including sale, storage, and distribution of the banned manjha. District-level raids, immediate seizures, and dismantling of illegal networks have been ordered with immediate effect.
Making the government’s stance crystal clear, the Chief Minister instructed that FIRs must be registered under murder charges in cases where Chinese manjha leads to loss of life. Manufacturers, vendors, wholesalers, and suppliers will all be held equally accountable, ensuring that no link in the chain escapes the law.
The Chief Minister also called for strict enforcement of existing laws and asked the administration to intensify public awareness campaigns, warning citizens against the dangers of Chinese manjha and urging cooperation in reporting illegal activities.
The decisive move comes amid a spike in fatal incidents linked to Chinese manjha in recent months. CM Yogi issued a blunt warning: “No one is above the law. Those who gamble with lives will end up behind bars.”
With this firm directive, the Uttar Pradesh government has signaled that the era of leniency is over—and that any violation will invite the harshest consequences under the law.
