Massive Public Turnout Marks 17th Death Anniversary of Late Rambabu Sharma; Over 500 People Receive Free Health Check-ups, 1,000 Blankets Distributed

A massive wave of public participation marked the 17th death anniversary of former MLA and senior Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee leader Late Rambabu Sharma, as a grand free medical health camp was organized at Shri Sai Sharanam Mandir, Kabul Nagar, East Delhi.
Known for translating the Congress ideology of service, struggle, and commitment into grassroots action, Late Rambabu Sharma continues to inspire people even years after his demise. During the camp, more than 500 residents underwent free medical examinations, while medicines, spectacles, and over 1,000 blankets were distributed free of cost among the needy and underprivileged.
The programme began with an address by former Member of Parliament and former President of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee JAI PRAKASH AGRAWAL, who paid rich tributes to the late leader. He said —
“Rambabu Sharma was not merely a political leader; he was a true embodiment of the Congress ideology based on service, struggle, and dedication. He viewed politics not as a means to power, but as a mission of public service. Leaders like him are remembered for generations.”

casion, described Late Rambabu Sharma as his political mentor and guiding force. He said —
“From Rambabu Sharma Ji, I learned not politics, but how to stand firmly with the people in their joys and sorrows. He was a living symbol of Congress ideology. Whatever I am today is the result of his guidance and blessings.”
Parmanand Sharma further stated that Rambabu Sharma’s deep connection with the masses, sensitivity towards every section of society, and unwavering commitment to development made him an extraordinary mass leader.

Senior leaders present at the event emphasized that throughout his political life, Late Rambabu Sharma consistently raised his voice for the rights of the poor, workers, women, youth, and marginalized sections. As an MLA from Rohtas Nagar Assembly, he prioritized inclusive development and implemented the Congress vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Social Justice” on the ground.
