In a landmark move for labor welfare, the Delhi Government, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, has announced a 120-hour skill training program for construction workers, ensuring not only enhanced professional skills but also financial security and a brighter future for their families.
Since taking office, CM Rekha Gupta’s administration has consistently prioritized workers’ welfare, taking decisive steps to ensure their active participation in governance and providing them with opportunities for skill development and economic empowerment.
Empowering Workers through Training and Participation
The program will be conducted at both worksites and training camps, with participants receiving 15 days of hands-on training followed by assessments. Successful completion of the program will also earn them certificates, boosting employability and career growth.
Additionally, workers will be paid ₹35 per hour during the training, providing immediate financial support to their families while equipping them with marketable skills for the future.
