Several individuals have sustained bites and scratches, leading to fear of infections and other health complications.

Despite repeated complaints to the concerned municipal authorities and wildlife departments, the problem remains unresolved. The lack of effective and sustained action has left residents feeling unsafe in their own neighborhood. Schools, parks, markets, and residential blocks have all been affected, restricting free movement and impacting the overall quality of life.

The residents of Dilshad Garden strongly urge the Municipal Corporation and the Forest and Wildlife Department to take immediate and humane measures to control the monkey population. Suggested actions include proper capture and relocation, deployment of trained personnel, public awareness campaigns, and strict enforcement against feeding of monkeys in public areas.
