Elevated ‘Metro’ ride offers a Unique View of Bhopal’s Scenic Beauty

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took a metro train ride on Saturday evening from Subhash Nagar to AIIMS Metro Station, covering a distance of 7 kilometers. Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal accompanied him. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that metro trains provide a pace to development and mark the beginning of a new chapter in the city’s growth story.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with citizens and media representatives at the AIIMS Metro Rail Station. He also talked with several passengers and learned about their experiences during the ride. Sharing his own experience of the Bhopal metro journey, Dr. Yadav said that riding on the elevated track while viewing the greenery and beauty of the city on both sides is a unique experience in itself. He described this as a gift for urban transport in Bhopal.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the Metro train facility in Bhopal is significant not only for daily commuters but also for patients and citizens travelling to AIIMS. On behalf of the Madhya Pradesh Government, he congratulated Union Minister Manohar Lal on the occasion. The Chief Minister stated that the central government is providing necessary funds for all works related to the Indore Metro as well. The Government of India is extending full cooperation for urban development schemes in Madhya Pradesh. Today, 262 development works have been initiated. The Chief Minister extended congratulations to the entire state’s populace on the launch of the metro train.

Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal described this special facility for Bhopal as important from the perspective of time-saving and environmental protection. He congratulated the citizens of Bhopal on the commencement of metro train services. Bhopal Metro Rail Corporation officials, several public representatives, media personnel and citizens were present on the occasion.
