Serious violations of traffic rules have been repeatedly observed on the stretch from Jhilmil Metro Station towards GT Road and Dilshad Garden Metro Station, leading to daily traffic congestion and increased noise pollution. The situation has become a major concern for commuters and local residents.

Vehicles including cars, tempos, trucks, and other commercial vehicles are frequently seen driving on the wrong side of the road. In addition, unauthorized roadside parking has further narrowed the carriageway, resulting in long traffic jams, especially during morning and evening peak hours.

Continuous honking by stranded vehicles has added to noise pollution, affecting pedestrians, nearby residents, and shopkeepers. The lack of traffic discipline has also increased the risk of accidents and caused inconvenience to emergency vehicles passing through the area.

Despite the heavy traffic flow on this route, effective traffic regulation and enforcement appear to be inadequate, encouraging repeated violations. Regular commuters report delays and unsafe road conditions on a daily basis.

Immediate attention from the concerned traffic authorities is required to curb wrong-side driving, remove illegal parking, and ensure smoother traffic movement on this crucial road stretch.
