Panaji, Goa (Ms Aditi Karan Samarth) : Global tourists started arriving in Goa as charter flights kickstarted international connectivity. Goa has welcomed multiple international charter flights, enhancing the state’s connectivity and providing seamless access for travellers from key international markets.
Another 158-seater charter flight from Novosibirsk, Russia, landed at Manohar International Airport, Mopa. Following this, flights from Yekaterinburg arrived, each carrying 158 passengers reached recently. A direct service from Moscow offering 296 seats, touched down to Mopa airport, further expanding international arrivals.

International connectivity will be further enhanced with charter flights from Kazakhstan, starting October 25, 2025, providing travellers from Central Asia direct access to Goa.

Minister for Tourism, Rohan Khaunte, stated: “The arrival of these international charter flights is a clear reflection of Goa’s growing appeal as a global destination. We are committed to providing world-class experiences, warm hospitality, and seamless connectivity to ensure that every visitor leaves with unforgettable memories.”
Director of Tourism, Kedar Naik, added, “The landing of these charter flights marks a key step in expanding Goa’s global accessibility. They also pave the way for greater engagement between travellers and Goa’s local culture and heritage.”
