The residents of Badli came out in large numbers to pledge their support to Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav, who is the Congress candidate for the Badli Assembly, as campaigning in the Assembly elections ended on Monday, with the local residents promising  to elect him with a huge victory margin. Shri Devender Yadav, along with a large number of local residents and Congress workers, walked through ITI JJ clusters, Jahangirpuri, and other areas. Shri Devender Yadav appealed to the mothers and siters, brothers and elders of Badli  to vote for him, for building  new schools, hospitals, stadiums, rebuilding the broken roads, clean drinking water, houses for the poor, removal of the accumulated garbage and the garbage mountain, desilting of drains and  sewers, new ration cards and ration for the poor, and pension for the old, widows and the  handicapped as only the Congress will fulfil the promises made to the people.

Shri Devender Yadav said that there was a huge Congress wave in the Badli Assembly about which he got a first person experience when he closely interacted with the residents in every lane and bylane, at their homes, community centres, public parks and other places as people trust the Congress to address the concerns of the people on various issues and fulfill the guarantees promised in its election manifesto. He said that the trust and faith of the  residents of Badli will be reflected on the voting day on February 5 when they vote for the Hand symbol to elect him, as people’s antipathy towards the corrupt Kejriwal and the BJP were real, as they yearn for change, and want Congress back in power.

Shri Devender Yadav had a hectic day on the final day of election campaigning when he held padayatras and motor cycle rallies. Members of Parliament Pappu Yadav, Imran Pratap Garhi and Mumtaz Patel were some of the top leaders who appealed to the voters of Badli to vote for Shri Devender Yadav and elect him as Congress will return to power in Delhi, to change the future of the Capital.
