Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that facing imminent rout of the corrupt Kejriwal Government in the Delhi Assembly elections on February 5, it was no surprise that seven AAP MLAs deserted the sinking ship today as exodus of senior leaders of AAP have been a continuing process for the past many months, including senior Minister Kailash Ghelot, and may leaders had also joined the Congress, as they were all disillusioned with the corruption and non-performance of Kejriwal.
Shri Devender Yadav said that Kejriwal has been making desperate efforts to remain in the news by making wild allegations like the Yamuna poisoning charge, and promising all sorts of “guarantees” to the public, but nothing seems to be working for the Kejriwal party and the AAP MLAs have realised that they were sitting in a sinking ship, and it was time they swam to safety before the Kejriwal ship got drowned, come February 5, 2025.
Shri Devender Yadav said that he got the pulse of the people during the Delhi Nyay Yatra as they were determined to throw out Kejriwal for his corruption and incompetence as in 10 years of power, he will be remembered only for his liquor scam and other corruption and the Sheesh Mahal he constructed for his comfort at the tax payers’ cost.
