Jodo Nyay Yatra when he covered thousands of kilometers to closely interact with the people of the country to witness their struggles and tribulations first hand, and conquer hatred with love. He said that the  lessons learnt from the Dilli Nyay Yatra influenced in formulating the five guarantees for the citizens of Delhi ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections.

Shri Devender Yadav said that when Congress returns to power, it will resume the development works witnessed during the 15-year rule of the Congress Government headed by Smt. Sheila Dikshit, as the Capital had suffered unprecedented devastation in the past 11 years with air and water pollution causing havoc with people’s health, broken roads, garbage mountains and accumulation posing serious pollution and health concerns, water shortage and dirty drinking water being terrible concerns, a depleted DTC fleet, which has shrunk from 6000 buses to less than 3000 affecting public transport, the slum dwellers being denied the flats constructed for them by the Congress Government, the pitiable condititions of slum clusters, unauthorized and resettlement colonies and the slow pace of the metro expansion after the Congress Government had put the metro rail on fast track with the first three phases completing ahead of schedule, no old age and widow pension, no new ration card, the erosion of green cover so painfully created by the Congress Government and a myriad other issues affecting Delhi.

Shri Devender Yadav said that when people of Delhi were battling to save their lives during the Covid-19 pandemic, Kejriwal and Modi were busing constructiong their Sheesh Mahal and Raj Mahal, respectively, and Kejriwal was also busy giving final shapes to his corrupt liquor policy. He assured that Congress will restore the Delhi of yore which was ruined by the Modi and Kejriwal mirule.
