Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that Congress will provide 400 units of free power to the residents of  Delhi when it comes to power, which will be an honest assurance, unlike Kejriwal’s fake “free” power and water promise, as he only deceived the people.  Shri Devender Yadav said that Congress will also stop the DISCOMs’ loot of the power consumers with inflated power bills, as strict checks and balances will be enforced to ensure that the power distribution companies complied with rules and regulations.

Shri Devender Yadav, addressing the Delhi Nyay Yatra participants at 70-foota road, Mubarakpur, Kirari Assembly, on the 26th day of the Yatra today, said that Congress has fulfilled all its election promises in whichever State the party came to power, like Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, but Kejriwal only devised various excuses for his failure execute the  freebies and then blamed the LG and others for his own incompetence and inability to translate his words into deeds.

Shri Devender Yadav, who passed through a colony full of filth, accumulated garbage and stagnat pool of water, said that this was the state of Delhi after Kejriwal’s malgovernance for over 11 years. He said that Kejriwal had promised to make Delhi like Paris, London and had asserted before the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections that as soon as AAP was elected to power in the Corporation, it would clear the three garbage mountains in the Capital, but sadly uncleared  garbage everywhere has made life of the people miserable, with serious health hazards haunting them.

Shri Devender Yadav asked Kejrwial to return the kind of Delhi Congress had left behind. He said that without ration, welfare pensions and other welfare benefits, poor people were struggling for their daily existence. He said that Kejriwal made tall talks  and lofty promises, but after enjoying power for 11 years, he only ensured his own growth, but stunted Delhi’s development.
