REC bags ‘Best Corporate Film’ Award at 8th NMC

REC received an award in ‘Best Corporate Film’ category among Central Public Sector Enterprises during 8th National Media Conclave (NMC) 2024.

The award was received on behalf of REC by Shri Tekkam Sridhar, Senior General Manager and CPM (Bhubaneswar Regional Office).

The award underscores REC’s commitment to excellence in corporate communication and its innovative approach to storytelling that effectively highlights its initiatives, achievements, and contributions to the nation’s development

REC is a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, and is registered with RBI as Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC), Public Financial Institution (PFI) and Infrastructure Financing Company (IFC). REC is financing the entire Power sector and also Non-Power Infrastructure sectors. REC has been nodal agency for Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (SAUBHAGAYA), Deen Dayal Upadhaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY), National Electricity Fund (NEF) Scheme, Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), etc. REC is PIA for PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna. The Loan Book of REC stands at ₹ 5.09 lakh crore and Net Worth at ₹ 68,783 crore as on 31 March, 2024.
