NEW DELHI, November 25, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that the election of National Students Union of India (NSUI) candidates Shri Raunak Khatri and Shri Lokesh Chaudhary as president and joint secretary respectively of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DESU) was a clear indication that the youth of the city want change, and they will brighten Congress’ chances in Delhi.

Shri Devender Yadav said that students of Delhi University, which is a much sought after educational institution, have fully understood that only the Congress and its students wing NSUI can effectively champion their causes for them to pursue their education in a conducive environment without politicizing education in the campus. He said that NSUI will play a constructive role in taking up the issues of the students so that they can focus on studies without outside influence and distraction.
Shri Devender Yadav said that the wins of the NSUI candidates was a clear message that the Congress party was all set to return to power in the Capital.
