Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that Kejriwal’s “Janata Ki Adalat” at the Chhatrasal Stadium today was a big flop show as the people of Delhi kept away from it, which was a reminder to him that he cannot fool the people of Delhi with hollow and unfulfilled promises forever, as he had betrayed them by setting a new bench mark for corruption. He said that Aam Aadmi Party was not the party of the common people anymore, as Kejriwal was now used to the luxuries of power, which was evident from his new residential address at 5 Ferozeshah Road, which was a posh official bungalow of an AAP MP, whom Kejriwal forced out to move in, after vacating the CM residence at Civil Lines.

Shri Devender Yadav said that throughout his public address, Kejriwal only blamed the Lt. Governor and others for his own failure, without saying anything about why the Delhi roads were broken and potholed, why he could not check air pollution, why the public transport was in a dilapidated state, why Delhi gets waterlogged during monsoon with deaths and devastation causing misery to the people as over 40 people lost their lives in monsoon-related mishaps this year, why the drains and sewers had not been desilted for the past 10 years, why the Capital experiences severe water shortage during summer, and why people were getting dirty piped water, though he had promised free power and water, why the street lights were not working and people are getting inflated power bills with the power companies hiking tariffs at their whims, why the mohalla clinics and Government hospitals were in pitiable conditions, and why the Government schools were in a miserable state, as many schools were without principals, vice-principals and teachers for key subjects, resulting in poor results in Board exams.

Shri Devender Yadav said that the liquor scam has totally tainted Kejirwal’s image and people will not believe his lies and false promises any more. He said that Kejriwal had deceived the auto drivers, bus marshals, guest teachers, ad hoc employees, sanitation workers and the poor living in the JJ clusters with false promises without doing anything for them in the past 10 years, and now he was blaming others for his own incompetence and corruption-ridden misgovernance.

Shri Devender Yadav said that Kejriwal was put behind bars for over five months in connection with the liquor scam, forcing him to resign as the Chief Minister after the Supreme Court granted him bail with stringent conditions.

Shri Devender Yadav said that Kejriwal should have taken the cue from his flop public meeting at Jantar Mantar a few days after his release from jail as the Aam Aadmi Party had to arrange paid crowd for the meeting, though it was still thinly attended. He said that Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party have lost all credibility as they only indulge in blame games without doing any work, and people now look upto the Congress to come back to power and provide them a stable and able Government, by resuming all the stalled development works.

Shri Devender Yadav said that in Kejriwal’s “Janata Ki Adalat”, “Janata” (people) were conspicuous by their absence, as they have now fully understood his devious ways as his all his promises were empty rhetoric.
