The Executive Committee of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the apex body representing the country’s leading automobile manufacturers, today elected Mr Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, as its new President for 2024-25.
Mr Shailesh Chandra, who previously served as the Vice President of SIAM, succeeds Mr. Vinod Aggarwal, Managing Director & CEO of Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Ltd.
The new office bearers were elected during the Executive Committee Meeting held today.
The members of SIAM also elected Mr. Shenu Agarwal, MD & CEO, Ashok Leyland Ltd., as the Vice President of SIAM for 2024-25.
Mr Satyakam Arya, CEO & MD, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles was elected as the Treasurer of SIAM for 2024-25.
