Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs would have no answer to people’s questions when they meet them in the  “Your MLA at your door” campaign, to explain the “achievements” of the Kejriwal Government in the past 10 years, as nothing really had happened other than “corruption, commission and cheating” to fatten their pockets at the cost of the people. As a result, all development works   were put on the backburner. He said that the Kejriwal Government’s real claim to fame was in putting Delhi No 1 in air and water pollution, Covid-19 deaths and spreads, falling standard of education in Government schools, the deterioration of infrastructure in Government hospitals, garbage heaps everywhere, broken roads, unlit roads and streets, and the national shame of the three land fill mountains, which have only gained in height in the past ten years.

Shri Devender Yadav said that what can the MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party tell the people when their Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, has been behind the bars in connection with the liquor scam without getting bail, while former Minister Satyender Jain is still behind the bars in connection with a money laundering case while former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia got bail a few days ago after spending 17 months behind bars for his involvement in the liquor scam.

Shri Devender Yadav said that the arrest of Chairman of Delhi Wakf Board and MLA Amanatullah Khan by the Enforcement Directorate yesterday was yet another instance of the all-pervading corruption in the AAP Government as only “corruption, commission and cheating” dominated deal, whether it was the implementation of the now scrapped liquor policy, class room construction, toilet complex construction, the purchase and maintenance contract for DTC buses (which was later put on hold), taking advantage of  people’s misery during the Covid-19 pandemic when hospital beds, medical oxygen, Covid kits, ambulances all became scarce.

Shri Devender Yadav said that the Kejriwal Government had totally neglected the air pollution causing severe health hazards to the people, lack of public transport in view of the dilapidated condition of DTC buses, broken roads, waterlogging during rains, water shortage during summer, the deterioration of Government schools and hospitals, and civic infrastructure in general, and the ever increasing electricity rates to help the power distribution companies to fleece the people, as the total focus of the Kejriwal Government in the past 10 years was only how to indulge in corruption in every deal.
