Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Samman and Salaam Foundation, a prestigious organization founded in 2014, is delighted to announce its upcoming facilitation event scheduled for September 2023 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The primary objective of this event is to pay homage to the families of Martyrs from the Indian Armed Forces, Indian Paramilitary Forces, and Uttar Pradesh Police. The foundation will present the esteemed Samman and Salaam Awards to honor the Martyrs’ families, and also recognize and felicitate outstanding achievers from various ranks, including IAS/IPS/UAS/UPS officers, who have made significant contributions to the nation.

Shri Vivek Jha, the visionary founder and Chairman of the foundation, expressed his heartfelt dedication to supporting the families of our nation’s heroes and acknowledging the exceptional service rendered by officers in various fields. The event aims to provide a platform to honor and acknowledge their sacrifices and contributions to society.

The chief guest for the function will be Shri Yogi Aditya Nath, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. A productive meeting was held on 1st July 2023 at the Chief Minister’s Office in Lucknow to finalize the date and time of the event. The foundation eagerly awaits confirmation from the Chief Minister’s Office, which is expected to come shortly, and the Foundation has already begun the preparations for the event in Lucknow.

Over the years, Samman and Salaam Foundation has successfully organized six events, where distinguished personalities, including Governors, Members of Parliament, and Central Ministers, have participated in honoring Martyrs, Bureaucrats, and other notable individuals. The presence of esteemed dignitaries such as Shri Ramdas Athawale, the Central Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, and Shri Shahnawaz Hussain, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Hon Lt Gen Retd Shri Gurmeet Singh (then governor of Uttarakhand) & Honourable Shri Rajendra Vishwas Arlekar (then Governor of Himachal Pradesh) has added grandeur to the past events. Notably, the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu, also graced one of the events in Ranchi during her tenure as the Governor of Jharkhand. Shri Manindarjeet Singh Bitta was among the prominent attendees at the New Delhi event.

Looking ahead, Mr. Jha revealed the foundation’s plan to organize similar programs in several states, with a particular focus on Assam and Maharashtra.
